Developed by Michael Girard of Quest, 1881 Black is a fresh, woody, oriental fragrance for men that is both sophisticated and seductive. Inspired by the warm and spicy atmosphere of an Italian summer evening, key ingredients of black pepper, bitter orange and precious woods make it special. There is also a freshness to the fragrance which is crisp and clear. Top notes of bitter orange, black pepper and lavender are like a fresh evening breeze while middle of nutmeg, caraway and cedar add spice. Warm end notes of agarwood, guaiac wood and marzipan give it deeper warmth.
