Benetton

Benetton began as a clothing company in Italy in 1965 and launched its first fragrance, Colours of Benetton in 1987. It is known for its vibrant patterns and colours, wearable designs and unconventional advertisements. Starting the company by selling his younger brothers bicycle for a knitting machine, Luciano Benetton saw a gap in the market for brightly coloured clothing and opened his first store, which grew to 800 in 120 countries worldwide by 1989. It now has a wide range of perfumes made in association with perfumers Valerie Garnuch, Christophe Raynaud, Bernard Ellena, Ann Gottlieb, Alain Astori, Beatrice Piquet, Alexandra Kosinski, Richard Herpin and Annick Menardo.
