Cacharel is one of the best known French perfume houses. It started as a fashion house in 1962 and it is named after the garganey ducks in the Camargue region of Southern France. Its first, and most successful fragrance, Anais Anais, was launched with the help of L’Oreal in 1978. Cacharel’s fragrance portfolio now includes around 12 perfumes created by some of the world’s most prominent perfumers including Laurent Bruyere, Dominique Ropion, Sophie Labbe, Roger Pellegrino, Robert Gonnon, Paul Leget, Raymond Chaillan, Gerard Goupy, Jean Guichard, Olivier Cresp, and Domitille Berthier. It introduces changes and innovations to keep the brand fresh, youthful and forward looking.
