This legendary fashion house was founded by Coco Chanel in 1910 and quickly became famous for Ms Chanel’s hats, elegant separates and the iconic Chanel suit. Founder Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel took the name Coco during a brief career as a cafe and concert singer. Chanel made a real revolution in the fashion world and the world of perfumes. The first Chanel fragrance N°5 was created by Ernest Beaux in 1921 and is perhaps the most famous perfume in the world and still tops the best seller lists. Actress Nicole Kidman is the latest celebrity to feature in its advert.
