I have been using Davidoff Cool Water for Men products for nearly 30 years. I was in Chicago for work in 1990, not long after the brand was launched. For some reason (I travelled for work almost constantly for 27 years out of the last 30), I had found myself in a fine mess (well, I had circumnavigated the world in loads of trips in one month, and I had got to the state that I hardly knew where I was). I had forgotten to pack any aftershave, eau de cologne or shower gel. Or socks or underwear. So on my first day, (thankfully, the cheapest flight was actually early on a Friday and landed that afternoon, so I did get time to sort things out. I hit Macy's on North Michigan Avenue and got the underclothes I needed, but then mentioned my need for toiletries. The lady asked me how long I was staying and I said for the week, and she got me down a gift set of Davidoff Cool Water for Men stuff. I had a sniff at a tester and liked it. I have used it ever since. It's fresh without being over-sweet, flowery without being feminine. It suits my chemical-sensitive skin fine, and the shower gel in particular goes a long way. I am now 56 and was a much younger man when I first tried it, but it still fits me, and nobody in a party has ever twitted me for wearing a young man's scent, like some kind of reverse Old Spice. I liked it then, and I like it now.
not Impressed whatsoever and believe this a copy as smell disappears after 30min so disappointed gave away to my neighbour,who also said the smell don’t last ! Would not recommend and won’t be ordering any perfume or aftershave again. Rather go to a proper shop..... what’s the point ? My deodorants last 24hrs .... poor product wasted £20 in Black Friday sale wouldn’t pay £5 so my advice people,save your money.
I bought this for my partner because it's his preferred aftershave and I really like it too. It is a light, refreshing scent suitable for everyday use and the name Cool Water suits it well. This version of bottle is a direct splash-on and the pound coin is included in the picture to give an easy indication of size. It is also possible to get Davidoff Cool Water with a spray pump, which my partner prefers. The glass bottle is a stylish shade of blue that not only complements the image of Cool Water being portrayed but also stops the content from being damaged by sunlight.
