Femme

A real masterpiece of French perfumery, Femme was released by Rochas during the German occupation of Paris in 1943 and brought the richness of tropical fruits to a tired and dispirited city. It was inspired by the warmth of a woman's skin. 'A woman must be smelled before she is seen,' Marcel Rochas famously said. Its famous plum top note is still there along with a hint of softer peach. At it heart are rose and jasmine, so utterly feminine and then soft undertones of patchouli and musk mark it out as a classic.
