Geoffrey Beene

American fashion house Geoffrey Beene was established in 1963 and made its fragrance debut in 1975 with the signature fragrance Grey Flannel. Regarded as one of America’s true design pioneers, Geoffrey Beene challenged the American fashion establishment by creating haute couture for women and classic, superbly tailored styles for men that married comfort and luxury. Today Geoffrey Beene is a fashion empire comprised of men’s ready-to-wear, men’s and women’s accessories and fragrances made in association with perfumers Michel Gouges, Ron Winnegrad and Andre Fromentin. In 2000 Beene was inducted into the Fashion Center Walk of Fame. He died in 2004.
