Roy Halston Frowick started his clothing company in the 1970s and went on to be named ‘the premier fashion designer of all America’ by influential magazine Newsweek. He started out in millinery and famously designed the pillbox hat that Jacqueline Kennedy wore to her husband’s presidential inauguration in 1961. His designs have been worn by Bianca Jagger, Liza Minnelli, Angelica Huston, Lauren Bacall and Elizabeth Taylor. His signature perfume, Halston, was one of the fastest sellers. Halston fragrances are made in association with perfumers Ilias Ermenidis, Harry Fremont, Carlos Benaim, Vincent Marcello, Max Gavarry and Patricia Bilodeau.
