Houbigant

Founded in 1775, Houbigant is the only French perfumery with more than 225 years of history and artistry in fragrance, and a remarkable tradition of French elegance, quality, and innovative spirit. Originally the house sold gloves, perfumes, and bridal bouquets. Clients included Queen Marie-Antoinette of France, two French emperors and various European royalty. It’s most famous perfumes include La Rose France, Quelques Fleurs, Etude and Ciao. Houbigant was the first perfume manufacturer to use coumarin, which is found in tonka beans, in its Fougère Royale scent. Older perfumes and their bottle are highly sought after collector’s items.
