Lanvin

Jeanne Lanvin established her classic couture and fashion house in 1889 and quickly became known for her elegant gowns and contemporary haute couture. Some of the most famous names in Europe were included in the clientele of her new boutique on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. Lanvin made her fragrance debut in 1923 with Irise but the best known Lanvin fragrance is the classic Arpege which was created for her daughter Marguerite. Today, over 80 years later Arpege still remains a firm favourite.
