Founded in 1909 in Paris, L’Oréal is the largest cosmetics and beauty company in the World. Although is started with hair colouring it soon branched out into other cleansing and beauty products. L’Oréal now markets over 500 brands and many thousands of individual products in all sectors of the beauty business including hair colour, styling aids, body and skin care. Its advertising slogans ‘Because I’m worth it’ and ‘Because your worth it’ are among the best known in the business.
