Oscar De La Renta

Designer Oscar De La Renta left his home at the Dominican Republic to study painting in Spain but ended up working with a number of famous fashion houses including Cristobal Balenciaga in Madrid, Lanvin in Paris and Elizabeth Arden in the US In 1965 he launched his own label in New York and became known for his elegant evening gowns. His first fragrance, Oscar, was launched in 1977 and he now has a full range of fragrances including Volupte, So de la Renta, Oscar For Men and Rosamor. It is now one of the leading design houses in the world and continues to grow and expand.
