Fashion Collection Inspires New Hilfiger Fragrances
Duo of Scents from Tommy Hilfiger
The Tommy Hilfiger Group is launching two new fragrances that are bound to be hits for the autumn. Eau de Prep Tommy Girl and Eau de Prep Tommy are described as sporty and elegant.
The two fragrances have been inspired by the American designers fashion collection. ‘The new Eau de Prep fragrances celebrate the classic, iconic Tommy and Tommy Girl but with a new, preppy twist. These scents are the finishing touches to all of the looks I designed for my Spring/Summer 2011 Prep World collection,’ explained Hilfiger.
Eau de Prep Tommy Girl is described as being a girl’s perfect companion, regardless of whether she’s at tennis court or in ballroom. The fragrance opens with pink peppercorn, green apple and violet leaves. The heart is white roses, pure and simple and the base notes are sandalwood, hawthorn and musk. ‘It is the ultimate accessory that completes your look and provides a long lasting, memorable image,’ says the publicity material.
Eau de Prep Tommy has been designed for a confident, laid back man, when he is visiting country club or sailing a yacht. The fizzy top notes are red grapefruit, wild clary sage and passionate granadilla. A heart of Egyptian geranium, wet greens, a splash of tonic, white pepper, lavender absolute and juniper berries make it a complex scent. The base notes of rich amber, georgywood, oak moss and white suede add a touch of sensuality.
The bottles are also very elegant with see through glass embellished with golden inscriptions and cap. The outer carton of the women’s perfume is coloured in red, while the men’s version is navy blue.
