Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali is an icon of the surrealist movement and known all over the world for his trademark melting clocks, elephants and lobster telephone. His fragrances are also a huge success. The first fragrance, Salvador Dali, featured a bottle symbolising the nose and lips of Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty. Since then his bottles and packaging have become collectors items. ‘Of the five senses, the sense of smell is incontestably the one that best conveys a sense of immortality,’ he once said.
