Ungaro

Born in France to Italian parents, designer Emanuel Ungaro has a combination of flair from both nations and started his very first menswear collection called Ungaro Uomo in the 1970s. He launched his first fragrance Diva a decade later. He followed it with other best selling perfumes including Emanuel Ungaro For Men, Senso and Ungaro. He worked with leading perfumers including Francoise Caron, Olivier Polge, Domitille Michalon, Jacques Polge, Max Gavarry, Marc Chaillant, Loc Dong, Yves Cassar and Pascal Gaurin. Ungaro left the company he founded in 2004 and in 2005 it was sold to an American high tech entrepreneur Asim Abdullah.
