Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Lauren is one of the greatest fashion names of the late 20th century. It was the first Couture house to launch the modern concept of ready to wear in a collection called ‘Rive Gauche’ which was the first step in making luxury labels accessible to a wider public. Today the brand also includes shoes, handbags, fragrances, small leather goods, jewellery, scarves, ties and eyewear. Yves Saint Laurent fragrances span every perfume genre, from the first fragrance, Y in 1964 to the iconic Rive Gauche, once scandalous Opium, era-defining Kouros and the youthful Elle and Baby Doll.
